Captain Wayne was raised on the island of Isle Madame, across the road from the community wharf. While not much of a swimmer, he always enjoyed fishing and boating. Starting at a young age, he worked on the lake boats, and retired a few years ago from Canadian Steamship Lines.

To pass the time of the long winters and Covid-19 lock down, Wayne busied himself with rope art. During the summer you can find him at the Lennox Passage Yacht Club with his family and friends on his pleasure boat.
